ROOFING SALES / PROJECT MANAGER

Responsibilities

Present, promote, and the ability to sell products/services to prospective customers
Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Reach out to customer leads through door knocking
Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and status reports
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
Continuously improve through feedback

Requirements/Experience
Familiarity with Google Docs, Sheets, and Drive a plus.
Familiarity with customer relationship management practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
Excellent communication skills
Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
Reliable mode of transportation
Positive attitude
Good People skills
Background in the construction industry a major plus

Compensation:
This position is 100% Commission and does NOT include a base pay amount. There is NO cap on how much you can make in a given time frame.

$10 - $20 an hour - Full-time, Part-time

Responsible for loading and logging materials onto truck and makes notation of returned materials per each work order
Erects scaffolding or ladders
Cuts gutter material to the size required
Able to hang 5 and 6 aluminum gutters
Attaches gutter materials by installing hangers
Maintain good housekeeping on job site
Observe job site safety rules and know the location of MSDS packets in your vehicle
Maintain tools and truck housekeeping and maintenance
Responsible for completing time card daily and ensuring it is submitted on time
Responsible to comply with OSHA guidelines and company safety policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience in the construction industry, including roofing, siding preferred
Basic math skills
Able to lift up to 100 lbs on occasion to chest level
Able to lift up to 40 lbs above head and hold it there for several minutes
Able to climb up and down a ladder and be on roof to install gutters
Able to work independently and or with a crew
Must have a valid drivers license to drive a company vehicle

ROOFING LABORER

Due to the large variety of roof types, shapes, etc the below listed responsibilities should not be considered a complete list, just tasks similar to what will be expected of you on a typical work day.
Unload materials from truck and unroll roofing material.
Ensure there is enough material for entire roof.
Lift roofing materials onto roof using pulleys or ladder.
Clear debris from roof.
Ensure tar is chopped and heated.
Scrape or pull off old roofing material.
Properly equip all roofers with safety equipment, scaffolding, and hoists.
Nail roofing paper and composition shingles into roof.
Apply layer of tar on roof.
Apply gravel, shingles, or asphalt over tar layer.
Cover roof with roofing felt, asphalt strips, or other materials.
Apply tile, slate, or composition materials to roof.
Locate and repair cracked tiles.
Fill in missing tiles.
Clear out gutters and drains.
Affix metal sheets to roof boards or frameworks.
Locate and fix leaks.
Repair damage caused from storms and high winds.
Nail tiles to roof boards and cover with roofing cement.
Life 40 pounds over your head consistently throughout the day unassisted
Climbing, squatting, kneeling, and other constant up and down activity throughout a work day
The pay varies based off of work experience and history.

ROOFING INSTALLER

Due to the large variety of roof types, shapes, etc the below listed responsibilities should not be considered a complete list, just tasks similar to what will be expected of you on a typical work day.

Job Responsibilities
Repair roofs, including filling in holes, replacing missing shingles and flashing, working on the chimney, removing water damaged pieces and more
Install new roofs by measuring the current dimensions of the house and cutting the roofing materials to ensure a perfect fit
Inspect roofs when a customer wants a routine examination done, and create comprehensive reports for any problem areas and potential solutions
Establish scaffolding and other pieces of safety equipment, and ensure everyone on the work site is always working in a safe, secure manner
Install proper insulation in the attic area, and tear out any old insulation that does not meet current state guidelines
Apply paint to the surface of the roof

Preferred Job Skills & Qualifications:
Certification in roofing
At least 18 years old
Able to pass a drug test
Able to work in the United States
Reliable transportation
Knowledge of different types of roofing systems
Knowledge of building ordinances
Two years of experience working as a roofer
The pay varies based off of work experience and history.
